چکیده
Background: Caspase-3 is involved in the execution of apoptosis and widely used as an apoptotic marker. Tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) released from activated macrophages has various functions such modulation cell growth differentiation, immunoregulation, coagulation, regulation endothelial function. This study investigated immunohistochemical staining caspase-3 TNF-α expression placentas pregnant women with preterm premature rupture membranes (PPROM). Methods: Placentas 25 healthy, PPROM were processed for routine histological tissue processing. stained hematoxylin-eosin, caspase-3, immunostaining. Results: Normal placental histology was observed control group. Amniotic epithelium, vascular structures, fibrinoid accumulation histologically normal. Leukocyte infiltration, thinned vessel walls dilatation congestion, syncytial nodes, increased The immune activity mainly negative components endothelium, accumulation, In group, positive reaction amniotic membrane cells, areas inflammatory infiltration. structures. nodes. Conclusions: patients showed loss weakened pathology, TNF-α. We suggest that signaling pathways can be a marker progression PPROM.

PURPOSE to compare the expression of tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-alpha) in ovular membranes with premature rupture (MPR) and with opportune rupture; to verify the association between the expression of the TNF-alpha in ovular membranes and the degree of chorioamnionitis, correlating the expression of the TNF-alpha and the membranes' time of rupture. METHODS ovular membranes from 31 partur...

Background & Aims: Preterm premature rupture of membranes (PPROM) is the leading cause of preterm birth and perinatal mortality and morbidity, and complications. The objective of the present study was to assess the effect of progesterone agents (rectal suppositories and weekly injection of 17- hydroxyprogesterone caproate) on latency period in women with PPROM. Methods: This randomized, double-...
